£30,000 over 18 months for an improved capital position

Having recently enhanced our short-term loan offering to include 18-month terms (previously a maximum of 12 months), for the right scenarios, a pub came to us looking to borrow £30,000.

They originally wanted to borrow the money over 36 months, but having received competitor funding within the last 90 days, they were not eligible for a medium-term loan under our terms and conditions.

However, as a team we always look to see what is possible and appropriate where we can, and in this scenario the business case and the strength of the company position meant that we were able to provide the funding on a short-term loan basis.

As a result, we were able to lend the full £30,000 over an 18-month period, enabling the pub to improve their overall capital position, partially by clearing other debt as well as having some money left over for development purposes and cash flow.

We were delighted to help, particularly as this is the second successful short-term deal thanks to this particular broker in the last two months.
