Overcoming obstacles for an electronics manufacturer
An electronics manufacturer came to us looking to borrow £30,000 to support capital management in a growing business. They were a new client, and a well-established business with plenty of equity.
However, during our due diligence we discovered a County Court Judgement (CCJ), which meant we weren't able to provide funding. It turned out that the CCJ had been incorrectly applied to their business. Having been alerted to its presence, which they wouldn't have otherwise been aware of, they were able to get it removed completely, and we were able to proceed with their loan application.
Ultimately, they decided to increase the amount they wanted to borrow to £51,000, which we were able to deliver. Now they are in a strong cash flow position to fulfil their growth plans.
