’Tis less than a week until Christmas and with any luck you’re spending today winding down. By five o’clock, one hopes you will be sitting with a mince pie in one hand and a glass of mulled wine in the other, merrily contemplating an extended period of eating and afternoon snoozes.
The dependability of seasonal celebrations is a wonderful thing and, this year, they add a sense of reassurance to a 12 month period that many would say has been characterised by a certain amount of uncertainty.
Rivers Leasing highlights for 2019
For the team at Rivers Leasing, the year has had some wonderful highlights. They have included the Corporate LiveWire Innovation and Excellence Award for Boutique Asset Finance Funder recognising the value of a personalised service; the 2019 FT1000 and being shortlisted in the 2019 NACFB Awards.
Chief amongst the year’s most joyful moments was also being able to announce a number of promotions for longstanding team members Rishi Shah, Darlene Fernandes, Jacqui Eadie and Paul Oxley. Their continued presence is very much part of the fabric of Rivers Leasing, and have been instrumental in allowing it to flourish to date.
Looking forward to our 10th year
As far as what 2020 has in store, we place great value on being a continually reassuring presence. So in short, our goal is more of the same. As we head into our 10th year, we continue to work alongside our highly valued broker partners, and we aim to support even more individuals and SMEs to fulfil their own business development goals.
Our goal is still surging forward at a manageable and organic rate so that we can continue to work successfully with our clients, our investors and of course, our team. It’s a goal that we greatly look forward to working with everyone who has supported us to date, and who continues to support us as we look to the future.

For now, however, a few days to rest seems to be in everybody’s interests and as such our offices will be closed from Tuesday 24th December. So we take this opportunity to wish you happy holidays and a healthy and prosperous 2020 from all the team at Rivers Leasing, knowing that come 2nd January 2020 you can trust that we will be back and ready to take on a new year.
